Lichen the rocks and the mushrooms

You've done it again Kittlerox, another bunch of photos I really appreciate :thumbs:

 

My first thought was WTF did a schiste that big, until I realised you were talking about a rock :laugh:

 

The forest shots are fantastic at this time of year a look almost prehistoric :yes:

 

The horse foot fungus, is something I use to make amadou for drying dry flies, and I believe it makes excellent kindling :thumbs:

 

And..I have never seen moss completely covering a standing stump before! First of all I thought it was someone from the airgun section showing off a new ghillie suit they had made :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Glad you like them bud, I,ve been reading hill walking books lately and they tell you how the different rocks were formed and I find it quite interesting,

as for the forest shots I think thats the most moss covered place I,ve seen, what I think would be classed as British rainforest, definately a bit different,

and the stump did catch my eye as well :thumbs: atb
