Jumpin'Jack 68
Hi, Just got this dog yesterday and was wanting some opinions on his breeding. I think he's a SalukixBullxGrey. The bull isn't too ovbvious but he is very stocky and muscly. He is smaller than my Saluki x but weighs more (probably 24" TTS - Saluki x is 28") Here's some pictures. skycat 6,174
Pasterns shouldn't be completely vertical: difficult to tell from the photos: only if you stand the dog properly and take a photo from ground level can you tell properly, and the feet may come up a bit with correct fitness training. Dog not very fit, though obviously been well cared for: nice dog, reminds me of some lurcher to lurcher breedings a friend of mine did: Saluki lurcher to Saluki lurcher, no bull either. He's not too fit yet but I will get him there as he has a fast Saluki to chase after He was found as a stray with infected stitches in his leg so my guess is that his owner couldn't be arsed paying the vet bill! His recall is very good and it looks as though he has been worked He can't keep up with the Saluki yet and was knackered after about 10 minutes but I'll get him sorted Edited July 22, 2012 by Jumpin'Jack Quote Link to post
bedwhippet 164
looks just like one of mine, saluki/whippet/grey but as other lads say its matter of opinion as you werent told,, aslong as he does what you want breeding shouldnt matter too much Quote Link to post
