undisputed 1,664 Posted July 19, 2012 Report Share Posted July 19, 2012 I am on an oilrig right on the Norwegian Border easterly of Edinburgh there is a doo with a ring on it I caught it the other day and the ring no is NL 20111334048 IM ASSUMEING IT WAS BORN IN 2011 and From Holland is there a website i can report where the bird is ....its Ironic that I probably kill something everyday im at home whether its for food or vermin control but there always a reason ....but there are lads on here that want to kill it just for the sake of it ...ive been feeding and giveing it water it for a week now and its healthy enough but must of just lost its way ....can anyone tell me where I can let its owner know its whereabouts cheers He will most likely put it in the bin anyway....just let it go and leave it in the lap of the gods Quote Link to post Share on other sites

In the uk we have the rpra but I don't know about birds from there. It may be from the uk as a lot of fanciers travel to holland and Belgium every year to buy birds. I had to report one a few weeks ago - unfortunally we only found the legs and the rings of the bird, bloke rang me up about a week after reporting it, thanking me for reporting it, the bird had been missing for two years - least he knows now its no longer alive.
