its been a while

i havent been out for a while with the gun other than back garden,so decided on a mooch on a nearby farm that can be walked to so after a chat to the farmer i stroll around to the barns and spot 2 ferals feeding on the deck outside, so i crept around the old trailer and lined one up in the scopes and sqeazed the trigger and the pellet hits it like a wall brick! the other one is off like a rocket so i walked up the old dirt track and 40 yds out i see a load of jackdaws feeding on a manure heap most spotted me and took the skies but a few remained and i decided to check my steadiness and in the standing position at the same40 yds i picked a target on top of the heap and a little adjusting with the scope saw a lovely shot and a jackdaw tumbled down the heap one remained but in my haste i missed it .the rest flew off in a frenzy circling above like vultures! on the way back to the dead feral i spotted a crow walking around it having a peck hoping for a warm meal so it was back around the old trailer and scope on its head and smack! it lay upside down next to the feral and i was well chuffed -must get out more often -billy
