I know this is probaby in the wrong section, as she is mostly hound, but as the folk who are interested are in here, and she will (hopefully) be worked a longside and for running dogs, i thought i'd stick this here.

Just a few new (and fairly crap) photos of Gwen. All jabbed up now, and at 12 weeks on Sunday, getting out into the big wide world, meeting sheep, chickens, ferrets and generally learning about life.

Can't fault her so far.

Cheers both.

So far she is coming on ok, sitting, coming to call, and retrieving a bit. Follows me well, when out.

My old man has this crazy idea that he will be able to train her to where he can shoot over her, and get her dropping on a whistle etc.

I have my doubts, but she is a nice little thing to have about, thrown a lot to the Teckle in her attitude and personality.

The only problem with this type of dog is that when they grow and find their feet the recall becomes very hard to keep going as the hound brain kicks in once on a line and the selective deafness kicks in ... Hopefully you can cure this and have a nice little working companion ..........
