410 semi auto shotgun

I have a hushpower 410, but i fancy a semi auto 410. Is anyone aware if i could get a moderator fitted to one?

Anything is possible. Its the rib , that may get in the way..but im am sure someone will do the job, its not rocket science after all. A good engineer , with a silencer knowlege may consider it.. Try DM80. Good luck.

I was told once that there's not enough recoil from a .410 to work a semi? Could be wrong tho?

I was advised to go down the pump action route instead of a semi due to cycling problems, on the plus side you can get a hush power pump

Don't think they even do 20 bore semis in hush power? I used to have the mossburg pump as couldn't find a semi anywhere?

When I bought my hushpower mossberg pumpaction .410 i looked into whether there was anyway I could get a semi version as I love my 12bore beretta 391 semi. I couldnt see any hushpower semi`s anywhere and dont think they actually did any. I think it was something to do with the gas recoil needed to work the semi would be affected by the moderator. Or something like that.

 

As for normal .410 semi`s, im pretty sure beretta did the 391 in .410, so im sure there are some out there.
