Buster321c 1,010
Been off colour for a couple of days , so by the time this afternoon came round i was desperate for some fresh air I got a txt from a mate of mine that said he was out shooting and was doing ok . I said , well funny enough i was just going out , and was taking your rifle with me lol , we had a brief chat and left it at that . I Grabbed my stuff and went . Got to my first permission , and was dissapointed to see a rabbit with the worse cane os mixy i have ever seen . He hopped over the road to the other farm , and my heart sank . I got meself set up and the first was a rabbit behind one of the buildings . As i rounded the corner , there were two . Its a usual spot for them and i know its 15 yrds . Took it out with a nice clean head shot , and moved round to the hegde line . There was one sitting out at 28 yrds so i squeaked him , and he presented a nice shot to the side of the head , number two . I thought ide go to the next permission now as i only really zero here , but i was very pleased that the mixy rabbit was the only one i saw , hoping it came from elsewhere , but knowing it`ll come here soon . On the way to the way to the car a woody was sat picking in the grass , number three . Well i got to the next permission , and i set up a an owl decoy , with a rabbit at its feet . In an hour , ide had four unsuspecting rabbits that were foolish enough to wander out , and take their life in their hands . I did`nt worry about getting any magpies , but got another woodie that i spotted when i was collecting the rabbits . Packed my stuff away and went to a mates place , he keeps telling me there`s loads but i never see that many . I got there and sat in the garden fro an hour and only saw a squirrel . I decided to call it a day , and i got changed , had a chat with his wife and came away to my car . As i crossed the garden i saw two little uns by the garage , and as he keeps moaning , i took the gun out and finished them off sweet as a nut . All in all it was a great couple of hours and i got alot more than i expected . Just hope my mate did as well ( he probably did ) and had a good afternoon . And just incase your wondering , this was the rifle i took out with me , and i bloody love it !!!!! All the best , Buster . Quote Link to post

Buster321c 1,010
Archie , you know who has mine .......... He was out with it today .................. To be fair , i would`nt mind if he kept it for the next six months ....... I loved the old 22 Ultra i had many years ago , and this R10 , well it just fits me fine . Although im NOT a BSA fan , i can honestly say that i would be quite willing to find a home for this one ........... Its been Blueprinted by JB , and its a joy to shoot , what more can i say ........... Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Really good write up Craig. Glad that the r10 is still making you happy. The offer is still there if you want to keep it and I'll keep your MFR buddy. If it fits you well, your shooting well with it and happy I'm happy to keep yours as i am happy with that too. Got some footage to post of a session or two with the MFR when i have edited it prob on Thursday mate. In the day I have currently a 100% shot to kill rate. Nights my range finding is not so good and so have missed 2 shots. Got bunnies and a magpie yesterday and a lovely 35 to 40 metre crow today straight through the heart in the wind on camera with it. If you do swap I'll send you the scope back buddy as a spare for yourself and get a upgraded one for myself. Si. Quote Link to post
