Flow 18
The Tasco one is brilliant for the money. It finds the range really quickly, probably takes a second at the most. It only measures in metres but if you take it apart theres apparently a switch to change it to yards. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Try looking for a Hawke LRF 400 or a Longridge Pinpoint (same thing as the Hawke but sold to people who hit their balls with clubs, no accounting for taste)! Accurate to well over what you will be shooting with an air rifle! Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
MTC Rapier is good but i use a GunTuff LRF and its very accurate compared to a tape measure when tested. Si. Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 793
once i go past the 35-40m mark(or 'from here to there') i use a hawke lrf600(i think). the reason i use this model is cos its what was in the shop when i went to get one... theyre all pretty good from what i can gather though, cos everybody seems to use a different brand and they all seem to get good results from them. i prefer trying to go by my eye where poss though, cos it just keeps things simple. i'd sooner go out with the springer and some pellets and see what happens on the day generally, but if i'm off doing a bit of static hunting then i pack the rangey cos i'm more likely to take longer shots from a stable position than when just out having the crack. cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
