gnasher16 31,346
Im not offended by it mate it makes no odds to me.........i just dont understand why a Scot would wear an England shirt.....a Mick would wear a Welsh shirt....or any combination you like.......i have friends in Spain my mrs has family in Spain but im f****d if id ever wear a Spain shirt Be honest is it to do with religion ?.....i must admit ive not really known many Jocks well enough to get into all religion and politics in fact ive probably spoke as much with you boys on here as ive ever done with Jocks in the real world im probably too much of a purist of sport to delve into all that shit it bores me if truth be told................i just think its a shame if religion/politics/bigotry call it what you will, dictates over what for me is the biggest and greatest thing man ever created.....sport. scothunter 12,609
Honestly mate not really to do with religion. I often used to get up early doors to watch England in the world cup. Or i try to wAtch them when in a competition Granted it does rile the tims, but that's just a wee bonus lol As I said I tend not take any man serious in a foreign top telling me I should be ashamed wearing an England top. Says more about there prejudice than mine
Lab 10,979
Good on the Bulgarian................ He should have gave you a slap when he was at it..... Honestly i f*****g hate seeing a Scotsman wear an England top.......terrible Even Stewie and Gnasher would have to agree with that ffs. Would they ever wear a Scotland top?.... You wouldnt catch me in a Scotland top.....but then you wouldnt catch me in an Italian French or German top either ..... Im English why would i wear the colours of another country it would be like me wearing a Stoke City shirt Trouble is with you Scots is too much of your sporting rivalries and opinions are based on religion.........most people follow a team because its their manor not what they believe in or proving a religious point.....Im an Englishman from West Ham thats why i support them.............had i been born a Welshman from Cardiff thats who id support..........for me sport is pretty simple loyalty to your manor not who you like the best or what religion you are i was born West Ham and i,ll die West Ham that dont mean i like or agree with everything the club does but supporting a club for me is not about choice.....neither is what national football shirt you wear. Yes thats all fine and well saying you support your local team and well done for that but you cant go blaming religion on all of scottish football. Yes it plays a part in the 2 Glasgow teams but dont kid yourself it plays apart in other teams. Lets take an Aberdeen fan............he would hate to see a Scotsman in an England top and thats got f**k all to do with religion thats just pride in your own Nation and not supporting another. Why anyone would wear your closest rivals top is f*****g alien to me.........

Well I'd sooner put melted plastic on my back Well if you dont see England in footballing terms as a rival then theres something wrong with you................ I made a bet a good few years ago now with a mate on who was going to win the league that year. The bet was a grand or wear a Hun top in the pub......we won.. He wore the top and theres pictures still in the pub.... If it was me he was getting his grand....no f*****g way i would wear that..... Same goes for the England top... lanesra 4,007
Football is about different opinions Thats the beauty off it , a good healthy disagreement is what makes it what it is , imagine if we ALL AGREED how borin would that be , if someone has a prefrance for a certain team/shirt that is there choice and if you dont agree thats fair enough , was in the away end at Everton 1 yr and near us in the Everton section a Big lad was takin some abuse off the Arsenal Fans ... you get my drift "YOU FAT B4STARD" ... "WHO ATE ALL THE PIES" ect ect , you know the Hillariuos thing about it was the LOUDEST MOST ABUSIVE Arsenal fan was twice as big as the lad he was abusin ... Feckin Quality !!
