Rapid seven ??

I wonder if anyone can tell me how to tell if the gun I've just bought secondhand is a mk1 or 2,also I have a feeling that it may need checking for the legal limit or adjusted,serviced,etc as its been stored for the last 7 yrs,where would be the best place to get it checked over in the cheshire/merseyside area,all help would be very much appreciated,thanks,WM

mk 1 has no thumb grove slot for the single shot tray.. mk11 has i think.

 

the stocks are different too, the mk has a gap around the back of the triiger parts, the mk 1 stock is just a narmal grip, i think the mk 1 stock needs modifying to fit the mk 1 and vice verse..summut like that. have a look at the Theoben web sight, theres pictures on it.

I'm sorted now thanks chaps,I took it to a lad in Saltney,by chester and he serviced it and replaced the tuned up parts to make it 12ft/lb again,he specialises in rapid 7's and keeps the parts in stock,it was overpowered to 24 ft/lb but now is back to the legal limit which suits me fine,as a full time pest controller it must be legal for my daily use,thanks to the lads that offered me help but everything is fine now,atb,WM

nice wirral. my mate has one and loves it. i just been and bought a new hw 100 ks today. pick up friday. i have the old bigger version with the thumbhole stock but wanted the carbine.
