Just thought id share my rhubarb and ginger jam recipe.

I had plenty so i put 2lb of chopped and cleaned rhubarb and covered it with 2lb of sugar and 2 teaspoons of ginger in a bowl. Left it overnight.

Defo going to make some Jam this year.............probably be the standard raspberry or strawberry but you have to start somewhere...... :thumbs:

Looks good Trappa.........some lightly toasted crusty bread needed now... :D

Can't beat a bit of plum jam Lab! Next time you're in the supermarket keep an eye out in the reduced section. :yes: I often make the odd couple of jars at a time from stuff I find there. :thumbs:

Watched my Grandad make tons of the stuff over the years mate.....when he died and we cleaned the house out there was fecking jars everywhere.... :laugh: Its actually just laziness that i dont make it.......i make my own soup and that and really theres nothing too jam making. Defo going to try it this year.... :thumbs: Plum jam may well be a shout too....... :toast:

My nans shed is full of jars and she hasn't made jam, pickles or chutney for years! :laugh: I've got her marrow pickle recipie here somewhere but have never got round to making it. I should do at some point because I love the stuff! :thumbs:
