I had plenty so i put 2lb of chopped and cleaned rhubarb and covered it with 2lb of sugar and 2 teaspoons of ginger in a bowl. Left it overnight. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Watched my Grandad make tons of the stuff over the years mate.....when he died and we cleaned the house out there was fecking jars everywhere.... Its actually just laziness that i dont make it.......i make my own soup and that and really theres nothing too jam making. Defo going to try it this year.... My nans shed is full of jars and she hasn't made jam, pickles or chutney for years! I've got her marrow pickle recipie here somewhere but have never got round to making it.
