Wanted Cornwall hunting permission

Hello everyone,

 

My name is Simon I live in Pelynt near Looe in south east Cornwall. I have got my shooting skills (air rifle) up to the required standard for shooting live quarry the problem is I am finding it difficult to get permission to shoot on land around here as either the farmers sons take care of it or hunting rights have been sold I really want to be able to start my hobbie up. I have a car so if any land owners anywhere in south east cornwall would like me to take care of there rabbits or other pests please get back to me. I would be willing to do some odd jobs on the farm for you if needed in return or drop in some rabbits every now and then. Any help would be much appreciated.

Get out and knock on some doors pal. Its the only way you are going to get permission. Try Golf courses and holiday park(In the Offseason obviously) The problem you will have mate is We are a small county, and there is alot of us shooting. And like you say alot of the farms are hired out for the shoots.

 

Its not easy starting out mate. Just got to keep at it.

Very good advice mate,and you do have one thing in your favour,you are prepared to offer some work in return,get knocking mate,honestly lad you will not get permission asking on a hunting forum,it WILL NOT HAPPEN.good luck.
