the thing about buying second hand is the warranty is up on the collars by the time the season gets going so unless you get them pretty cheap it probably better to buy new, people tend to get carried away when bidding at auctions ive seen some things sold for as much as would have bought the item new.

YES but the collar gets twelve months warranty so if its second hand its already used up some of its warranty now its out of season and by the time the season starts more of the twelve months have passed leaving very little warranty, i think the collar is the most likely to feck up so it makes sense to either get it fairly cheap and accept it may feck up and cost a good whack to fix or pay for a new one and have peace of mind.the ones ive seen sold dont seem to be much less than new. just my take on it.
