Gkeeper111 22
Ahoy all, Am looking to get a terrier for mainly fox work- am keen for a rough coated type bitch. Have pondered over Lakelands but am worried that it will be abit too big for the earths I have on the place as many are just rabbit warrens. We don't have any nice straw stacks on the shoot either. I've heard good things about Lakeland cross borders but haven't ever seen any in action. My current terrier man uses a Patterdale bitch which works well and is small enough but is smooth coated, admittedly one could say why does coat matter but it's just a matter of personal preference. What are people's experiences and thoughts on this subject? Any help appreciated. Many thanks Gk Quote Link to post

johnrussell84 2,881
Gotta disagree mate but each to there own pending what he's wanting to use it for above and below or just below Quote Link to post
tillearthdouspart 100
A I'm just keeping the banter going it's all down to personal choice. But for obvious reasons his better of with the Pat at the end of the day it's a winner by a mile even with two legs and no head it would have thr advantage. Quote Link to post

tillearthdouspart 100
It's out if our hands all we can do is make sure what's in our yards are workers and pups parents have been well tested workers and expect a high standard from our little friends and not to brake that chain. But money is a powerfull thing it feeds greed. Quote Link to post
