Moll. 1,793
shoot clays regularly but find recipes hard to come by.. Not much you can do with clays. You could try cooking them in a slow cooker, but i think they might still be a bit tough Nick
NIckinSurrey 6
We are looking to buy an air rifle and scope so maybe mixing some rabbit and pigeon will improve the texture I don't particularly want to be messing about with compressed air supplies so favour a good springer such as a Weihrauch HW 97 or Air Arms TX200. Alternative suggestions welcome. Nick

NIckinSurrey 6
Thanks for the welcome guys. I just got to get some practice in before my son gets his hands on it - he has a nasty habit of out-shooting me and clearly forgets where his birthday presents come from lol Nick
hotshot2me 31
Hi Nick firstly Welcome to the forum, with clays you have to marinade in Sulphuric Acid for 24 hours then OK, but have plenty of Rennie's handy. on a more serious note the AA TX200 is an excellent choice of gun, you said you and your son were into Clay Shooting what disciplines do you shoot, from an ex clay shooter myself. NIckinSurrey 6
Hi Dave, we shoot at a number of local farm shoots and tried DTL. The big issue is being able to shoot regularly with all the other things happening in our lives. Nick
