Big Jim101 29
drove down a road new mine today an down the strip of grass next to the road maybe 100m long i saw at least 35-40 rabbits. cant get at them though being so close to a main road. this is obviosuly the reason theres so many because everywhere else the rabbits are heavily culled by both gun and dog where they can be shot/ran with the dog. inan 841
Now i know it aint the working season, but ive covered 2 counties on my permissions today, weighing the situation up, cos as some of you may have read, i lost one of my whippets a few weeks back, and im thinking of replacing her, so the object of my foray today was to see if the bunny population warranted a replacement, cos ive had my share of mixy in these parts, but i have been pleasantly suprised , loads of em all over the place, im that happy with today, that ive been walking around with a semi, so yes im on the lookout for a companion to join this happy household All the best with your choice.
