You cannot import fowl from most countries FULL STOP, not even into quarantine. As a precaution, the UK has banned imports of live chickens from the following countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Laos, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Malaysia, South Africa, North Korea, Turkey and Romania.
