Hi all was just wondering what opinions on the gas strut is, i had a tracker with one fitted but didnt seem much of a benifit other than lower recoil and the spring twang, i was thinking of getting a new rifle and didnt want to get another gas gun was going to get a spring gun then i remembered the strut i have a mate he says go for a pro sport but just wondered if they was any multi shot spring or gas ram guns to bare in mind

Hi mate id say the gas strut was the best invention for airguns ever invented apart from the obvious pcp that is i have had many gas rams mate and the benefits are so much better than the springer not so much in performance but accuracy length of cocking time the rifle can be left and the possible fact it is vertually maintenace free.

but the twang you get from the springer is world known for bringing back child hood memories not to mention quite enjoyable.

im surprised you didnt get much more benefits from the tracker bud to be honest there a great gun gas ramed up.

All the benefits are there mate against the springers but its personal preferance mate and if your using it for Hunting mate accuracy is the first and formost important thing bud.

i do love the pro sport rifles though they are well smart

dont know about multi shot springers bud might be give it a google

i just picked up a theoben sirocco for a good price last week as it goes, and so far its comparing very favourably with the pro sport i already own. the evolutions worth a look at too. theyre pretty comfy to shoulder, accurate and a nice length to use out of cars or hides etc, so pretty much theyre very good all rounders.

cheers, wurz
