snoopdog 1,256
first off all everybody deserves a second chance lets hope you stick with this one . ...turkey is fine as part of the pups diet but only give the pup small meals two or three times a day.. turkey and chicken is healthy food for your pup and very good for weight gain but also add red meat to its diet worm the pup regulary... as for exsersise let it be a pup let it free run and take it regular walks its sounds like you have got a well bred pup out off good stock take care of it ..and remember all the work you put into the pup you will get repaid ten fold ... granary bread is also good for the pup broke into small peices and mixed with mince ...and remember to socialise you pup with other dogs once its had its jabs and people aswell ..good luck with your new mutt ....dont let this one go .. Simoman 110
Stick to a raw diet as its far superior, don't mean to bang on but beofre collecting the pup shouldn't you have researched and be prepared for the basics such as what/how much to feed????? Quote Link to post

snoopdog 1,256
theres alot lot of knowledgble people on hear you listen to what they have to say you will bring the pup on how it should be brought on its not hard to tell the people who know what they are talking about and dont over feed your pup in one sitting it needs little food on a regular basis ....a pup should look fat but not blowted ....... :thumbs-up: you are going to go threw some hard times with your pup chewing and shiting allover the place ..DONT GIVE UP ON IT ... Guest elstudro1986
she was vaccinated by a one of the lads before i got her Edited May 12, 2007 by elstudro1986 Quote Link to post
Ossie 11
she was vaccinated by a lad off here ANTJ was done before i got her and he has vouched for this has she had both rounds of shots? make sure. it's been years since i've had a puppy jabbed, but don't the first lot get done at 8 weeks, and the next at 12? better safe than sorry. one tip i'll give you, once she's had all her jabs, take her out with you all over the place. get her well socialised, used to sights & sounds, take her out in the car & get her used to being left in it for short periods of time. i got my boy at 7 months, he'd been in a car 4 times before i got him... he's a terrible passenger Quote Link to post

poppy1 0
she was vaccinated by a lad off here ANTJ was done before i got her and he has vouched for this I would get her done again unless you have proper paper work to back the jabs up as pravo is still around no matter what people say my mate lost his pup last christmas due to this horrible disease mate I would use a crate for her as this will cut down on all the shitting and chewing but make sure there is plenty in the crate for her to play with I have two 13 week old bitches and they are crated one they are safe when we pop out and two getting the toilet training right from day one is important if she is going to live in doors. I am happy to help so pm me if you need any further help mate. Good luck and remeber no such thing as a bad dog just a bad owner. Steve Quote Link to post
scottish lurcher 185
i normaly feed raw meat and part cooked meat to a pup vet told me to this as a lot of raw meet for a pup can start worms in them so if you add a little part cook meat in there diet stops this as pups guts not the same as adult dogs also a good change for them i know some guys may say this doesnt happen in the wild pups getting part cooked meat and may disagree with it but part cooking something a pup has not had before is easyer on a pups guts untill it use to it such as liver or any rich meat seems to stop it going through them the same also rice is good to add to raw meat to help them from getting the shits good luck we new pup dont give up on it Quote Link to post
