bluecollar 104
Here is the three I keep, Red and Tackel are littermate Hotblood Grey X Redline Airedale/gamedog (or as you would call them apbt), they are around 4 I think. Boone is out of the same dam, Brin off of a big yellow stag Stich, he is about 11months. 1 Quote Link to post
bluecollar 104
Boone at 7months and Tackel just before they jumped a jack.. Quote Link to post
bluecollar 104
Red Dog, we bolted a couple of big pack rats out of this pile on a morning walk.. Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
Nice looking pack, good to see. I've seen Skycats airdale x's and you can see the airedale in their heads, both yours and hers. Looks like some good hunting you have there, post some more pics to make us jealous Quote Link to post
bluecollar 104
Thanks, breeding Tackel to an old Brett Sorrel stud, then back to my friends slim stag stud if he is still around... Dont really need any pups right now but she is the last female of the line and has never been bred.. Not many Lurchers here in the U.S. so if I ever want more I got to breed them my self.. 1 Quote Link to post
skycat 6,174
Thanks for posting those photos. They are strong looking dogs. I'd imagine stamina isn't lacking, but do they lack top cruising speed? I wouldn't call mine the fastest things on four legs. Plenty fast enough for rabbits and some other stuff, but jacks would be a shade too quick for them I'd imagine. Is the land in the photos typical of the sort of ground you run on? Quote Link to post
Gitano 17
Thanks for the pix, I like the look of the rugged, robust Airedale mixes I'm interested in reading up on the Airedale. Any sites you guys can recommend for true historical info rather than intenet nonsense? Much appreciated Quote Link to post
bluecollar 104
Red has good speed and one of his sons is as fast as any stag I have seen. But as a whole you are right not the fastest.. Yes that is the land I run in, I only see the start of any course and then chase them on foot or track them in the sand to find them..
