gullane is well known for being over run with roe deer they have had numerous meetings about the deer causing accidents on the main street and the roads around the town, also invading peoples gardens and being chased and "savaged" by local dogs. they need culling and this has been going on for some time. hope the people have the sense not to come forward as the police should have better things to do with their time than bothering with the accidental killing of what is essentially a pest species invading an urban area

 

Won`t happen. SNH can do what they like, but one man has all the stalking in the area and he won``t shoot a deer unless big money is involved,, his lackies will though, but only on others permissions to keep the game dealer busy.

 

Stuck a post up on the other thread, but suffice to say, the North Berwick wildlife chappie will be on an even bigger warpath on the road to self justifcation.

 

Maybe he should encourage proper deer management in the area,,that would bring down the poaching problem !hahahahahaha,, but no,, if the chance to hang this couple over this comes up,, they`ll take it,, keeps them in the paper and looking good,.

East Lothian beach when the attack happened in front of onlookers.

 

When the pair entered the beach car park, the dogs - two deerhounds and a greyhound -attacked the passing deer, inflicting fatal abdominal wounds.

 

The incident happened at 16:50 last Friday. Police appealed for anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
