Crewkerne Lurcher & Terrier - Results

Recommended Posts

Wow, what an exhausting day. Still feel shattered and can't quite believe how tired i feel, my legs, bum and back all ache!!!

Anyway, firstly i want to thank everyone who attended yesterday's show, because without you, it won't happen. Secondly, i want to again apologise for the long delay at the start of the day which enevitably led to the delay in showing (again, many of you showed true staying power and stayed right to the end, even though the wind got up and it got cold) and finally, the results:

Straight Coursing was won by Tish Curran with Mouse

Straight Racing was won by John Humphries with Rebel (John's China was reserve)

The Whippet race was won by a dog called May (picture available later in the week)

the Puppy Trial was won by Spike and Reserve was Tinka, who were both owned by the same lady (unfortunately, she did not give her name)

The Terrier racing was won by Syd, who comes from Chard.

The Terrier Puppy was Deul owned by Mr Underwood from Warwickshire and reserve was Marcus owned by Ms Waller from Sturminster Newton

The Champion Terrier was Cygan owned by Andy Brewar of Cornwall and reserve was Ruby owned by Ms Stevens from Bristol

The Lurcher Puppy was Novak, shown by Brian Pether for Maria Pether and Reserve was Ross Body's Marshall

The Under 23" Lurcher Champion was Marley with Reserve Champion was Gunney, both owned by Sonia Doel

The Over 23" Lurcher Champion was Torres owned by Angela MacFarlane with Choccy owned by Mr Dominey in reserve

The Overall Lurcher Champion was Marley, with Torres in reserve.

In the family dog ring, the Champion was Sprocket owned by Amber Gauit from Crewkerne with Tish Curran in reserve wth Simba & Mouse

Well done to all the winners and i will post some picture on here later in the week, as i have over 1000 pictures to go through which were taken by two of Blake's friends - not all of dogs, unfortunatly !!

Once again thank you and congratulations to all the winners

Sarah
