The one 8,612 Posted March 17, 2012 Report Share Posted March 17, 2012 The thing with the fiberglass ,metal ones is that they are adjustable your hazel poles will hold the net up but you wont be able to adjust them like proper shop bought net poles Quote Link to post

Millet 4,497 Posted March 17, 2012 Report Share Posted March 17, 2012 The thing with the fiberglass ,metal ones is that they are adjustable your hazel poles will hold the net up but you wont be able to adjust them like proper shop bought net poles If you get long straight Hazel poles and do the correct knot's on your net you can slide the net up and down the pole to suit the situation and land.. .. i shot for a few year's and done ok without shop bought adjustable poles..mind you i did not use these new fangled hide net's..i used the army tank cammo net's which you can stuff full of dead grass and whatever else is around you to make the hide nearly invisable..but i suppose it depend's on how lazy you are..
