Sweet spot aa s410 carbine

Recommended Posts

i've got the AA s400, and i fill mine off a divers bottle and use the gauge which is on the bottle, i only ever fill mine to 190bar, and that was advice given from the gun shop when i bought it, and i find it starts shooting really well when it gets down to around 150/160 bar,

all the best,

hi buddy

if you fill to 190bar then its a waist of air! :tongue2: only if plinking do this.

only fill to 190bar then go hunting,if you have fettled with it :D

fill to 170bar this will allow you 10 shots for zero check prior to hunting  then shoot down to 110/105bar then re-fill to 170bar only!

have fun

yes davy, i genarally have a good few shots and a plinking session before i settle down to serious shooting, when the pressure comes down around the 170 mark, its generally game on.......

all the best,

Depends if it has been regged or not!

With Tench regulator i fill to 210 and shoot to 110 - all the same, because the hammer spring is working in the same pressure air all the time. For a standard rifle with no regulator, from 180 bar for a good one (there are bound to be individual differences, they are things that have been made!) to 110 bar should provide good shooting with reasonable consistency. The best consistency will be from 160 - 120. Higher pressure= lower power! This is because the hammer is having to fight against the extra pressure before it can open the valve.
