im in the middle of knocking up a dog pen. any recomendations for the wire to use on it and were from?

I use bars on all my pens and runs, they look better and more proffessional, theres no give in them and they last forever, all they ask of you is a coat of black hammerite every year

theres this fella does all sizes delivered worth a look, i wouldnt know if its cheap compared to others but he saves me getting off my arse and shopping around for it

Not really, I bought 40 four foot half inch round bars in 1985, cost, less than £40. Made my runs with them, and they are still up nice and strong now, "how do you maintain this" you might ask, "painted once a year". In another 20 years they will still be up, and just as strong. But, if money is the deciding factor, wire might be the better option.

look around salvage yards for some bars , i paid a fair bit to get mine made with steel gates but didnt have time to look around

Bars are good tho, depend how permenant you want it, mesh aint that cheap but there is free to be found, take upscrap heap challenge
