We shot it in the trap with 32gr 6's which only served to anger it somewhat,,,,it needed a second barrel quickly!! You do know that's a polecat yup. a European Polecat... a lot bigger than domestic ones, and a necessity for game bird protection in pheasant pens.. Does serious damage if left uncontrolled. I thought they were protected? Without a license at least, or is that only for certain methods? You are not allowed to set traps to target them specifically, but if caught in a live trap, may be dispatched with a shotgun or other human method. lol hardly humane if you said it took two 36gram cartridges Quote Link to post Share on other sites
