jackinbox99 41
How long is a bit of string?! Hundreds of guns out there and all sorts of different types. As others have said, id probably go for a semi. Jack of all trades and ideal if your in a hide shooting pigeons. Id checkout the reviews online and get to know whats in your price range, then get down a local shop and try a few out to see what you think to them - do they fit you etc. You`ll pay a bit more if you get a semi, but depending on what you buy they do hold their value. I bought my beretta al391 many many years ago and even now the 2nd hand price seems to have dropped very little. If your budget wont stretch to a semi you can get plenty of cheap o/u`s or sbs`s. Ive bought 12 bores for less than £100 before and had plenty of fun and use out of them. In fact the gun I seem to be using all the time atm is a £60 spanish sbs 12bore. I just love it. I use it for everything. In all fairness, I tend to stick to my air rifle for rabbits as I like to eat them rather than blow them into pieces! Quote Link to post
