Hunting Cartoons

Just be careful if you copy what someone else has done, as you could get done under the copy wright law

if its known that you copied someone else's work.

I had this commissioned a couple of months ago of my two dogs.

I am going to give 2.8 guy victory on the grounds of his attention to detail and i will honour my reward of drawing it up in due course (will put a picture up when done, which probably wont be anytime before half term) cheers for all the replies.

When you have finished 2.8s stoats, how about the next one - a shooting theme. Again, like him I was trying to get a friend of mine, Simon Gudgeon, to do it fo rme years ago, when he was just getting started. he did me a pencil drawing of a wistful looking lurcher. I am looking at it now! He is far too big in the sculpture world (self taught too) to bother with my idea.

Imagine two contrasting scenes. Scene one a formal shooting scene, grumpy old men all lined up in their tweeds and fancy guns with serious looking faces and a tableau of birds set out before them. The caption underneath "For Sport"

The second is a cottage kitchen, smiling, pretty, curvy girl stirring a stew with steam off the pot and boiler-suited (or scruffy working clothes) husband coming in through the kichen door, single barrel gas pipe shotgun in one hand, one cock pheasant held high in the other, showing his prize to the wife and also wearing a huge beaming smile! The caption for this one is: "For The Pot".

What about someone sitting up a highseat and two deer with a double ended saw chopping the tree down.? The caption from one of the deer looking up at the hunter could be "Your 'bucked'...... :D
