My name is Derek, i only joined today,i would be classed as a lurcherman and terrierman in this sport,i keep a couple of lurchers [mostly for hare,fox and a few rabbits]i love to get out with my lurchers into the open countryside and see them doing what they are bred to do,nothing like watching a lurcher coursing a hare on its own terrority,hunt up,course and kill,[if he is lucky enough] and then retrieve it back to hand, and then on a good dark windy night get out with a dog for a spot of lamping,[nothing as good as a nights lamping, i also keep a couple of terriers,patterdale x russell,love to see them beat cover and love to hear them roar with excitment underground when they have met their quarry ,face to face,...when the time comes that i cant do this,its time for me to meet my maker, i also like a bit of shooting,i own one shotgun,a lamber semi auto,for a bit of rough shooting and two rifles,a .22 CZ rimfire and a CZ.223 centerfire.used mostly for target,rabbit and fox, i love watching horses racing on the roads,[coloured trotters and pacers]i dont own one as yet but one day[maybe]. looking forwad to reading your posts and if i can give advice on anything i will be willing. thanks for taking the time to read.................................Derek...........
