Guest vin
Set off this morning and did a little hedgerow we havnt been to for a while..Me deanflute and young braddaz..Ferrets my dog and deans dog. we put the quick set nets up and down the hedge and across in a couple of spots at each end. started at one and a work our way up and across..we had one out and into the net after a few mins from a hole the dogs were marking. as we moved up the hedge we had another one out..then we got onto a corner section where one shot out past both dogs like a rat up a drain, and over the quick set nets that had somehow got flattened down by someone or something...mmmmm..it went straight back down where we had just been so we left it for a while.. we had another out further up that came straight into nets spot on.. so we went back to the one that got away again and popped the ferret in...after a bit of a struggle it came out with Deans dog behind it and mine in front..they bothe had a hold of an end each,so young brad goes and takes it off the dogs and drops it..and off it goes back down the hole again...LOL..so we said for his crime he would have to pay the price and get the shovel out..LOL.. he was not happy especailly when it was 4ft down and there wa loads of roots...Heheheeee. so ferrets marked it and the locator say 4-5 ft and hes off..i will give him his due he was at it like a gravedigger on bonus x 2. and he did redeem himself with the rabbit at about 3-4 foot down. we ended on a respectable 4..which is good for local, believe me.. whilst we were there this lad came up with 2 lurchers and said (well shouted) you,ll not get nowt in thea we did it tuther day and there was nowt in. . .
