First night lamping with new dog

Took the new dog out last night up a local few fields wasn't alot about . Spotted first rabbit bu a few horses were running about an moved the rabbit in on bu was pleased dog was looking down there an was very keen . Any spotted a rabbit an slipped him bu rabbit jumped in through a fence an in to the brambles lamp off an dog straight back to my feet there was one or two more like this bu was happy he was running the beam an coming straight back the field were pretty small so he didn't have much chance hopefully find a few bigger field on the weekend .

be patient mate,it will be worth it in the end my dog took a few runs to get going but it was worth it in the end try and choose a field that favours the dog longish gras hedges that the rabbit cant just fly into atb

Tbh mate at the start he was abit rusty bu soon as he realised wa was going on he was really keen if it wasnt for the horse running about he was of had one no problem haha

matt has just given you sound advice there mate. i no its hard to resist . ibut i personley believe 0ne our two kills and easy ones at that even if i had to wait till the end of the coming summer am bringing two first season pups now meself which i bread last year and up to now they are doing more than i could ask .but if it ment kholding them back i would i was lucky i had thae a good spot at begining of season atb mate
