Wxm 1,638
as above really whats your thoughts on the hornet? Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Big Ultra basically, nice rifle, I just hate MMC (micro movement cocking). Decent enough rifle, accurate, some available from a certain Mr Bowkett I believe, so if looking try looking there first! Is it the single or mult shot? Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
i know someone who had the hornet when it first came out, and it had leaks regular, and ended up selling it, other than that never seen one since Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
From what i remember when i was at Simon Howarths workshop with LJ he said it was a very nice and accurate rifle giving plenty of shots per charge. He rated it very highly himself and if anyone knows his BSA's it would be Simon (Tench). The big brother of the Ultra as Mike as said. Here are some reviews you may be interested in mate. http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews5983.html Si. Quote Link to post
Phil8282 8
The Hornets were one of the best production rifles BSA have ever made, even with the regulator removed the earlier valving was very efficient (everything the new SE is hoping to be, but not there yet!) The one Shay had was one I Tench regulated for him, Accurate as hell! I wish he never prised it out of my hands! Phil Quote Link to post
