Hob ferret sleeping outside

my mate has just bought 2 new ferrets Hob and Jil and they have been in the hutch for a couple of days and only the Jil sleeps in the nest box the Hob sleeps in the run on the sawdust they seen to get on together not seen them fighting or anything like that ive never seen this before any ideas ?

Yup,,,, it`s warm as hell,, the weather is mild mate,, one of my hobs sleeps out a lot,, and given the coat he`s got I don`t blame him..

good answer you know i thought of everything but the weather i will tell him to wait and see what happens if it gets colder thanks

Yes mate I agree its to hot so he sleeps out.. they sometimes do this

its been a lot colder the last two nights down to -4 and the Hob has been back in the nest box sleeping so it seems that it was just too warm in there for him thanks guys

Also ferrets love anything new shavings included, myne can go mental when I put fresh stuf in , and all lie about in the run, next day jam packed in the nest box again ,

every single time i put new shavings in it makes me smile, ferrets going mental never gets old with me
