Squirrel_Basher 17,102
Recently been asked by a farmer to eradicate the feral menace from his farm but other things namely foxing seem to get in the way .Last night however the moon prevented much from happening so off we went to the farm with my boy and my mates nephew ,My boy has a RWS umerex which is a good bit of kit really .No need for a lamp as the area is in floodlight all night being a very intensive dairy farm ,milking 3 times a day .The lads took it in turns to shoot the vermin off the steel rafters with strict instructions not to shoot if theres a roof sheet behind .The numbers started declining with some very good head shooting at about 20 -30 yds .Finished the night with 41 and nothing left to breed at all .Text from farmer this morning with a big thankyou as the farm assured people have been on to him .
