Like you say matie, still a good score..well done again.getting big numbers is just a bye product of being out, the main thing was you were out, and, enjoyed it..

had another look up there last night,, with poacherspocket, frankel, and ginnyspiner,,

for the first hour or so, we walked out along the same fields, frankel and ginny with the labradoor, and me and poacher with vunus,,,, we put the two lads on the wood side wich has a bank infront of it,, we took the easy walking at the bottom of the fields,, trouble is the few bunnys that were out were on there side.

by the end of the first hour we had 4 between us, so we decided to split up proper sending the boys on some land we did last thurs,,,, whilst me and andy, did some virgin terrortry..

this proved a good idea because the rabbits were very scarse,, the moon was just to bright despite the howling gale , they were just to spooky.. anyway we started to add 1 and 2 to the bag,,, at this point we were about half way up a hill,,, but we got to a point where we needed to either take a risk and go up,,, or go down to fields we new didnt hold much..

we went up hoping for a flat plato,, now it was only about 50 feet but it was so steep our hands were touching the ground in front of us, and poor old andy had about 9 or 10 bunnys . we got to the top and were greated by a flat plato thank feck and a good few bunnys.

some cracking land up there, both for the lamp and ferreting,, so we cracked on and venus was adding them steadily to the bag,, she realy does walk nicly to heel without the slip, just a "get on" to send her up the beam.

anyway after an hour or so,, again the desition came to either go up or down,,, we chose down this time as time was mooving on , and to be honest with that climb our old legs were buggered..

we eventualy arrived back at the motor ,, the boys were already there, they had managed 10 with reggie the lab pup,,, me and poacher had 19 with venus... nowhere near the number of last week ,, but just shows how difrent weather conditions can effect the bag.....

although the bag wasnt impresive ,, 29 bunnys is still a good shift in reality ,,, ,, a good crack as usual with me and andy,,,, cheers TOMO

i will have his hamster wheel set up in the dog run for him tomorrow whin, i am just keeping him in shape and keep him ticking over for a couple more runs out!!

All the pups in the litter should be faster than don just because it was a lurcher to lurcher mating... My mate has a bitch from the litter that is quick she is a belter & a smart looking bitch
