Over a ton of coneys in a week and still friday to go

Well day four of our christmas hols ferretting campaign we have had a cracking week and today was the height of fun even the howling gale did not put us or the rabbits bolting.

Well it started very slow with wind causing net setting havoc even purse nets where being blown off the holes.

The coneys where hard to shift the wind seems to put them off at first even with 5kg of fert chasing them.

They kept narlying up in stop end in a old elm tree hedgeline.

So we pushed off to shetlered area alot easier netting.

Our final tally was 32 and our bed cross was having a bad hair day his not trying to disguise himself that how windy it was.

Still firday to go as well could push 150 if all goes well we having rest sat/sun but back at monday.
