A ferret is not hard to kill, and something imo not worth bragging about. The really unfortunate thing is you do live in the real world, this is it as good as it gets. There are two things I simply will not tolerate, in fighting and worrying stock of any kind and I be as hard as I need to be so's as to leave no doubt in the dogs head as to my thoughts on the matter. I would not have ended the without the dog having learnt the errors of its ways. Good ferrets are far too valuable to lost to your own dogs. Our Bedlington Terrier killed a couple of our neighbors hens when they came around to our side of the field, the matter dealt was with the that day she now lives with hens free range in our garden and can be left unattended all day with them. 3 Quote Link to post

There was the way i read it Paul. It was even posted in the shoutbox thingy with lol's after it (before he edited it) Accidents do indeed happen, had it happen myself, but i certainly would not think of it as funny, nor would i have bragged about the fact my dog was so unpredictable, vicious, whatever the op wanted us to think, that he would probably have to 'go through' more ferrets before the dog could be broken to them.
