Were can i get insurance for culling wild sheep and cattle. I am a member of NGO and they do not cover this. I have also talked to BACS and they do not cover this also. The owners of the Ferrari sheep to cull them as they over the past year caused two traffic accidents and is worried that some one is going to get hurt. The cattle was on ground that was rented out seven years ago the owndr of the ground has not herd for the owner of the cattle for the past six years. The neighbouring farmer has asked the ministry and they do not want to know anything about it and have said to sort this out between the ground owner and him self. Over the past year they have tried to catch the cattle with no luck.

Welcome,,

First off, why are you culling them ?? the owners should be sending them to an abbotoir,, of getting a vet in,, If the ownership is in doubt, then the landowner should sell them on to a slaughterhouse for disposal.

I`ll tell you somit mate,, if yer not sure about it,, no fekin way would I want to stand in front of a steer that I`ve just tried to shoot !!

Do you have the suitable tools for this job ?? are you getting paid,, If so then you need different kind of insurance, not sporting,,

Rake Aboot is right SACS Won't cover you if you are getting paid for it. If you are doing it as a favour or as a condition of your permission you would be covered. However check first the legality of what you are doing if the gun you are using is allowed on your FAC for this purpose consult the NGO lawyers in this matter or if you join SACS they will advise you.
