patterdalejoel 669
hi all, i am getting a little beddy whippet pup, and i have done my research and i know not to let her see anything, as in only let her chase or lamp a few easy rabbits at around 10-12 months, but when should i start taking her ferreting, as in just tying her up while i ferret just to let her watch but not let her get involved, i dont want her to pick up any bad habits or start yapping while chasing, so any advice from anyone for a young lad? cheers, joel Quote Link to post

Neal 1,890
My youngest kelpie, now four years old, is the only dog I've ever introduced to ferreting at a very young age following advice from someone. I think she started at around five months but had already been visiting the ground for a few months previously. She's turned out to be my best ferreting dog. Quote Link to post
