Two rabbits court and bolted a stoat.

Put my polecat jill down a three hole warren today and she backed out thirty seconds later tail all fluffed followed by a stoat which leaped a foot in the air and shot down one of the other holes in the same warren. The stoat beat me to it iv been watchin the warren for two weeks and there was fresh signs of digging there yesterday.

Sounds more like your fert got bolted and the stoat went back to work , must have been interesting to watch all the same

bolted quite few stoats over the years. they didnt hang around away in a flash.

i bolted a stoat once, then it worked its way down hedge row bolting all the rabbits out the rest of the holes. that was the end of that hedge.. they can soon make them rabbits bolt.

Have bolted quite a few stoats they are no match for a ferret and will bolt every time now a mink thats a different beast its the ferret that normaly backs out the hole
