Travel sick

Recommended Posts

Got a pup nearly 4months, been in the car a handful of times, starts slavering and throws up.. When we took him for his jabs the vet told us travel sickness is common with pups.. The windows are open and the cars heater is turned off, I put him in his kennel in the back of the van to see if it was the view out the window making him sick but made no difference.

Anyone been through this and got an idea if and when they grow out of it?

Cheers for reading!

Awrite mate.

He`s 8 months now, but was 5 months when I got him,, had never seen a car before, so he grew out of it quite quick.

I prefer dogs to be unable to see out of the car,,,saves them fekin around in the back of the motor, but maybe being able to see out the car MAY help with the travel sickness.

Just persevere a bit, try the pup before or after feeding, see what works best.
