Same type of thread that was put up in 2007, a lad asked about Bulpa an then next minute an explosion of the same picks taken 20 years ago.

 

INHO for a dog to catch 20 lamped hares there is something seriously WRONG either the ground is small fields with dry stone walls an hedges or there is more than one dog involved in the chase. I see poacherspocket didn't answer me when I asked what has changed about these dogs that make them capable of now running single as it was his words that typed 99% of the stuff they caught was ran doubled. People are blinded by a photo in my eyes these hares must have been the easiest of the easiest IMO. For a dog or dogs to catch 20 something hares but not make a name for themselves as coursing dogs then you are basically saying lamping the hares was the only reason your dogs caught them an I know as much as anyone that even lamping hares can produce some of the best coursers.

 

An ill ask again what has changed with these dogs that now allow you to run them single? an before anyone starts am not trying to ruin a thread am just interested.

Who said anything about one dog catching 20 hares? I've certainly never caught 20 with one dog on the lamp? I know not of anyone else ever doing it either but maybe someone has somewhere? As for lamping them being the only reason i caught them well obviously it was because i didn't go day coursing it never floated my boat. As for why i run my dogs the way i do now has nothing to do with you now really does it? I don't have to explain myself to you or anyone else...it's like me asking a junkie why they stick a needle in their arm?

 

Edited to add..just looked through all your posts PIKEYLAMPER and see your just another who posts NOTHING constructive and just jumps on the Minshaw dog hate bandwagon with every single post that you've made lol...grow up you clown...oh and Bulpa has been dead 13 year so the only pictures of him are obviously old ones.!!!...be interesting to hear what dogs you have and what they've acheived PIKEYLAMPER?

I had my pal from Longtown staying at the weekend mate, and he said it was naughty with the police up your way after I went over to chat to some that had pulled in behind me.........he said that would never happen happen up there and they would f**k you off home at the very least

Who me lol? I'm one of the lucky ones PL...atleast i can say i've had my quota and then some...some folk will NEVER get the chance to run the gear let alone catch what i have?...the hunting ban has made sure of that? ATB Andy.

The jobs about f****d WILF up this way..those wildlife liason officers are everywhere and have been putting doors in with the local police...being heavy handed and high profile at the same time makes you wonder if it's fecking worth it mate? ATB Andy.
