Mine's ok to plays,feeds and will lie and go to sleep with them.She is 13-14mth and was introduced to them at 8weeks.Was determined to break this pup as my old dogs were murder (literally)with them.

Managed to stop my old dogs killing them in the yard but when we went out I would never trust them,rat,rabbit or ferret was all fair game in the heat off the moment.

OUR YOUNG DOGS ARE OK WITH FERRETS BUT THE OLDER DOGS HUNTED TO MANY MINK SO AS THEY SEE IT FERRETS ARE FAIR GAME, WE HAVE LOST AFEW FERRETS TO THE DOGS IN THE PAST BUT YOU CAN T BLAME THEM

Ferrets also need to be broken to dogs, i was breaking an 8wk old pup to them and the ferret i had at the time tried to get hold of the back of his kneck

I had trouble breaking my Ferrets to my Pup, The dogs fine, shes soft as baby shi tbut the ferrets kept going at her.

 

I just had to grit my teeth and put them on the floor together, there great now.
