Frontline Spray

Done a search and it seems that a few have had problems getting their hands on this.

 

Rang one vets who said they don't deal with frontline and offered me some expensive spot on stuff.

 

2nd vets said they had it but only available to cat owners.

 

Rang a 3rd vets and said its for my cat and they said they would need to see the cat for a £25 check up.

 

How do you get this stuff???

Ring the second vet back up and tell them you want to pick up some frontline spray for the cat/dog (best if you've got one registerd with them).

They will ask how much they weigh and you should be able to pick some up.

i just took my ferrets to the vets and said i wont some frontline coz they keep getting ticks they check and said ok but i asked to see a vet nurse so it was free for the check up

Is it true it goes for £30 plus at the vets? I get mine off my mrs mate who works at the vets, I nearly fell off my perch when she asked £16 for it. If its that hard to get your hands on, I spose I got a deal.

Pet med is in US isn't it mate so postage would be loads?

 

And any UK supplier online want prescription.

 

Getting a bottle off a mate tonight via his vets for 40 notes. 250ml bottle.

 

Expensive stuff.

Got mine for £18 from someone who works as a vet nurse on another forum.

The 100ml bottle is tiny though. Should last ages as I only use few sprays onto a glove.

 

Vets used to give this out for ferrets when there was nothing else, but now theres stuff licensed for ferrets (pippetes)

they have to give you them. Problem with pippetes you can use em once and you have to buy more where as the frontline spray keeps after its been opened.

gareth can you not just ring your usual vet register your ferret/ferrets over the phone then just ask for some? I did this and they said no probs, i think i paid about £22
