Gaz_1989 9,539
Done a search and it seems that a few have had problems getting their hands on this. Rang one vets who said they don't deal with frontline and offered me some expensive spot on stuff. 2nd vets said they had it but only available to cat owners. Rang a 3rd vets and said its for my cat and they said they would need to see the cat for a £25 check up. How do you get this stuff??? Thanks Gaz Edited November 16, 2011 by gareth_daniel Quote Link to post
joe14 98
Ring the second vet back up and tell them you want to pick up some frontline spray for the cat/dog (best if you've got one registerd with them). They will ask how much they weigh and you should be able to pick some up. Quote Link to post
mr-lurcher 6
i just took my ferrets to the vets and said i wont some frontline coz they keep getting ticks they check and said ok but i asked to see a vet nurse so it was free for the check up Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
Is it true it goes for £30 plus at the vets? I get mine off my mrs mate who works at the vets, I nearly fell off my perch when she asked £16 for it. If its that hard to get your hands on, I spose I got a deal. Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,936
30 quid is cheap mate It`s a feckin scam by vets, they insist on prescrition only ,,then charge a fortune for it,, robbing cnuts Quote Link to post
j316 119
try pet med online Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Pet med is in US isn't it mate so postage would be loads? And any UK supplier online want prescription. Getting a bottle off a mate tonight via his vets for 40 notes. 250ml bottle. Expensive stuff. Quote Link to post
mr-lurcher 6
i payed 20 for 30ml i thought that was good from the vets Quote Link to post
joe14 98
Got mine for £18 from someone who works as a vet nurse on another forum. The 100ml bottle is tiny though. Should last ages as I only use few sprays onto a glove. Vets used to give this out for ferrets when there was nothing else, but now theres stuff licensed for ferrets (pippetes) they have to give you them. Problem with pippetes you can use em once and you have to buy more where as the frontline spray keeps after its been opened. Edited November 17, 2011 by joe14 Quote Link to post
BazB 37
i got sold that pipette stuff at the vets for 32 quid, its been ok just the price i dont like. Barry Quote Link to post
