Yesterdays pics

The ferreter, Adam, Iceman and myself headed out yesterday. The day started well untill I almost lost an eye climbing under a wire fence and then not seeing the barbed wire one behind it as I got up and the day just got worse for me, but we had a good end to the day with a healthy dozen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the right side of the first pic below was an electric fence, with a hole just on the other side of it, a rabbit hit the net covering this hole and I hit the electric fence just as quickly but no way was that rabbit evading capture, so after a very loud yelp from me I was quickly on him only to have the bugger bite my finger while still in the net.

Was good day never seen someone get hurt so much in a days out ferreting but its so funny when it is someone else and not yourself.Was to many digs rabbits did not want to bolt at all.Thought with the weather we had we should have got a lot more but there always next week.

i had a day saturday on some new permission got 24 was well happy glad yous had a good day chaps there is to many talkers and not enough do ers like our selfs
