she is just going through a adolecent stage that most pups go through. just take your time and be patient. beddy crosses can be stubborn. i have got a pure beddy who was as stubborn as a mule as a young dog.as he matured things got a lot easier. seen plenty of beddy/whippets size ranged from 16-19 tts. good luck with the pup.

its not just beddy's bud its every mutt under the sun when they reach the stage where they're drive is pulling them one way and your trying to pull the other, you've got to make yourself more attractive to the pup and i dont mean putting lipstick on,,

a dog is never trained by 6 months old, how could it be,

everything must be light hearted and fun and relate to the drive in your dog, its the drive that informs and the associations made through drive will become the strongest pull to your pup,

use two retrieve items , using the stimulation of the second to bring the pup in with the first,

call the dog up for the recall and either feed out of hand or throw a toy ,or ball

Play tug with the pup,

dont correct the pup for any sort of contact,

Dont lose your cool with the dog , he feels what you feel ,

and dont panic it can be fixed, best of luck
