zini 1,939
Hi all, Here is a bit of footage I shot yesterday in my dinner break at work on the indoor range. I was having a bit of fun with a colleague and taking him through some shooting techniques to help improve his personal shooting whilst also testing a new mystery rifle that myself and Davy have been sent to test for a company in the UK. Sorry we can’t say what the rifle is just yet, but a review will be out some time next year for all them interested showing it shooting paper, metal and vermin to great affects. While helping my colleague I decided to try a scaled down Teds Holdover (Edgun USA) on YouTube shotgun cartridge challenge. As you will see the new mystery rifle which is in .22 calibre did better than good, Im only sorry that I couldn’t shoot it better to show you its true accuracy and potential. This rifle is way more accurate than I am. Try the challenge for yourself by shooting 5 .22 pellets through a card at 25 metres then on camera on a still day re shoot each pellet hole again and see how you do. Its not as easy as you may think Hope you enjoy Si http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unwYMPN4-zo Edited November 9, 2011 by zini 1 Quote Link to post
festa 206
pin point shooting again there buddy atb gary Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Thanks Gary buddy . When i inspected the spent .22 calibre cart cases at the end of the shoot i was really pleased to see all of them that had been shot at with only their base showing had been hit on the end somewhere within the 6 mm diameter by the Super Fields leaving a visible dent. Im glad that i have a ricochet screen up though in the range as some of the pellets shot back towards me after hitting the end of the cases, being deflected at a funny angle towards the back stop and then back up the range in my direction . The ones that where hit when they were standing up on there base where all doubled over by the force of the pellet hitting them in the middle of there mass and buckling them. Si. zini 1,939
Sorry lads as i stated in the clip it wont be released or given away till its finalised and finished next year . Its not a rifle that isnt already out being sold in the shops so please dont think its a new soon to be released model because it isnt. Maybe i give you a bit of a bum stir which i didnt mean lads . Its been in the shops about 6 to 8 months now but doesnt get spoken about at all so me and Davy are testing it and we want to give the company a fear crack at the whip and do them proud using it to our best degree. I havent seen or heard of one of them being used on here or any other forum im a member on at all to tell you the truth which is a shame as its a accurate hunting rifle as you have already seen. Here is a photo of a group i shot with it and filmed at the same time (so its not a bluffed 10 metre 3 shot group made out to be 5 shots at 25 metres ) which will be on the review so all can see it being shot as i did it. The group was actually just a bit bigger than a single .25 calibre pellet and 5 shots too. Ive cut the photo down on photoshop so the name is removed for the time being. OK enough said, my lips are now sealed before Davy slaps my arse . Si Edited November 9, 2011 by zini Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Hi Andy, Wrong buddy sorry. We (me and Davy) have been asked by the company to do the test after they watched a clip of the new finished DVD on YouTube that i sent out to different rifle companys in the UK. They got in touch with LJ in actual fact first while i was still in Canada (last month) leaving the managers phone number with her and asking her to ask me to phone him back on my return to the UK which i did. After speaking to him about what he saw on the YouTube clip he asked if me and Davy would field test the rifle in a hunting senario on various types of vermin for him and show its potential to the best of our ability which we agreed on. The manager asked for Me and Davy to assist him promoting the rifle better after seeing me shooting the .25 Ultra to good effects and after seeing Davys brilliant shooting ability on the clip shooting vermin and long range spinners in the wind. He said "what about that bloke DavyT something or other the lad wearing the hospital slipper and shorts that shot that rabbit in the back of the head at 50 yards". LOL (sorry Davy but i agree they are get some proper shoes ). I phoned Davy and we hatched a plan and the partnership was formed. Its not a Chinese rifle i can promise buddy. Si.
