The first of these films was on Elk Hunting in mid Finland. asanley 1,009
It was O.K but don,t expect a call off the BBC any time soon .
Moll. 1,793
I thought it was brilliant. Factual/real without it being 'in your face' so to speak, and without the bigotry you normally find with other hunting type documentaries. I applaud the hunter who narrated, his views were imo exactly how it should be. And great to see an Elkhound doing what it was bred to do. artic 595
It was O.K but don,t expect a call off the BBC any time soon . I can actually see a series of this on Sky TV if you know which buttons to press. Very nice clip there, it's good to see a large group of hunters working as a TEAM in such a large wooded area. They must know where each person is before they fire a shot. People have tried these documentarys many times before here in England, Jacks Hunt did a series, and I suppose in it's day was ok. I would like to see more of this and I'm sure we will
