Mac 30
Carlos Condit Steps Aside, Georges St. Pierre vs. Nick Diaz Confirmed After putting on an impressive performance against BJ Penn at UFC 137, it’s now confirmed that Georges St. Pierre will now fight Nick Diaz instead of Carlos Condit. At the UFC 137 Post Fight Press Conference, Dana White announced that he had a big announcement, but wouldn’t say what it was until Nick Diaz arrived. Apparently, Diaz was having problems urinating for his post-fight drug test and still couldn’t pee after drinking ten bottles of water. Eventually, Diaz came out and took his seat with Nevada State Athletic Commission officials next to him, and that’s when Dana White made his big announcement: Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz are going to fight, hopefully on Super Bowl weekend. Dana White told everyone that St. Pierre chased White down and flipped out about how disrespectful Nick Diaz was during his post fight interview with Joe Rogan. St. Pierre went on and said that Nick Diaz is the most disrespectful human being he has ever met in the MMA world and he is going to put the worst beating on him. As for Carlos Condit, Dana White asked him to wait until Diaz and St. Pierre settled their differences and he agreed. It now is rumored that Condit is also looking to fight, and he may be put on the Super Bowl weekend card as well.

trappa 518
2 out of 3 aint bad, Penn took Diaz 3 rounds but lost the decision, i personally think GSP will match him in all areas........ even stand up simo? gsp likes to take it to the ground i think diaz although unorthodox has good hands, looks awkward but i think that is just his style. GSP like too take it too the ground???? I'd have said he likes to stand and trade... To be fair he is deadly standing or on the ground and will whoop Diaz....hope it happens.. Greg Jackson tells GSP how to fight. If he is fighting a striker (eg Hardy)then GJ says wrestle. If hes fighting a wrestler then GJ tells him to keep it on his feet. GSP is that flexible he is world class on all levels and although you cant really knock him, GJ does make a potentially good fight a boring one as all he thinks about is points.

gnasher16 31,602
I thought BJ Penn was an embarrassment !.....he fought to survive not to win,was completely bullied in every way......................and then to top it all off, declared afterwards that he,s packing it all up because he doesnt want his kids to see him go home with black eyes ............dont become a fighter then son !....a car mechanic dont want to go home with black greasy hands but its part of the job........................very poor showing i thought.......at least have the guts to admit you wanted one last pay day. And that was the difference between him and Diaz, hunger......I think Conduit has it and so does GSP

Ye bang on gnasher. BJ has always reminded me of a spoilt brat. He is from one of the richest families on hawaii and i honestly believe his camp just bulls him up and tells him what he wants to hear.
