yeah,gangs of new york is another one,but i think it's just a bit too long more than anything else.

same here scot,, the sheer imotion that is brought to you in just the first minuit of the film,,when the old man ryan is visiting the war graves,, a tear choker for shure.

The obvious ones for me would be all the Bruce Lee films....................absolutely f****n awful films but just the man himself holds a certain fascination.

 

I don't know how i missed him out lol

 

Enter the dragon had a feckin ridiculous story,but it's still a classic......in my mind at least.

the only time i have watched a film at the movies without anyone making a noise or rustling crisps in the first 20mins of an opening movie.gave you an insight into what those boys went through on those beaches,and in reality must have been a horrible expierence.those type of casualtys would be considered unacceptable in this modern army.

Your having a giggle arent ya?

 

Afgan is a nightmare now, most of the casualties are ied victims with limbs blown off or worse.

Ridiculous war that "could" have been sorted very easily without the loss of so many soldiers, if they had of thought about it.

 

Every five minutes now in camp bastion, "op minimise, op minimise, op minimise"

I would question the sanity of anybody who wasn't moved by Saving Private Ryan, my grandad was one of the soldiers storming Omaha beach and this was the only film he ever went to see at the cinema and he said it was very accurate......
